Please have a plan for integrating the iPads into your lesson. Have a specific instructional goal for using your iPads.
Please don’t use technology as “free time.” This sends the wrong message and allows students to use them in the wrong way.
Subs are not allowed to use iPad carts.**
iPads should be assigned to students; they use the same one each time you have them in your class. This allows us to backtrack and identify who has previously had the iPads.
Only Teachers should unplug the iPads from the carts and hand them to the students!
Only teachers should plug the iPads back into the carts.
Do not allow the students to change the background of the iPad. (Teachers - each iPad has a number on the wallpaper screen.)
Have the students use a gentle touch on the iPad screen.
